Take on the toughest conditions confidently with the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2. This tire is BFGoodrich's toughest all-terrain tire ever. It uses reinforced, tough sidewalls with rubber compounds that have been proven in Baja racing to resist splitting and tearing. These sidewalls are designed to deflect sharp rocks, sticks, and other off-road hazards. The tire also has an advanced footprint shape and interlocking tread design that provides long, even wear on the road and aggressive all-terrain traction off-road. From mud to snow to sand and rocks, it can handle it all.
The specially formulated tread rubber protects against premature wear on aggressive surfaces like gravel roads. So whether you use your truck as a daily driver, for work, or for off-road adventures, you can confidently take on the harshest conditions. The Core Gard Technology of the tire includes tougher sidewall rubber that is split and bruise resistant, derived from Goodrich's race-proven Baja T/Akr2 tire. The extended shoulder rubber is thicker to protect more of the critical sidewall failure zone. The advanced deflection design deflects protruding objects to prevent snagging and splitting of the sidewall.
The tread rubber is specially formulated to reduce chip and tear for superior gravel road endurance. The tire's advanced footprint shape ensures more evenly distributed stress for longer, more uniform wear. The interlocking tread design provides increased tread block stability for more even wear over a longer period. The tire also has stone ejectors to reject stone retention and provide extra tread cleanout protection against stone drilling.
In addition, the upper sidewall traction bars of the tire offer increased mud, snow, and rock traction, especially in aired-down driving situations. The mud-phobic bars in the shoulder tread area help release compact mud for enhanced traction in muddy and soft soil conditions. The serrated shoulder design, with staggered shoulder blocks, provides greater maneuverability in soft soil and deep snow conditions. The locking 3-D sips, with 3-D active snipe technology, provide more biting edges for significantly increased snow traction. The tire also meets the Rubber Manufacturer Association's (RMA) severe snow traction requirements, indicated by the 3 peak mountain snowflake symbol.
Overall, the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tire combines durability, performance, and traction to confidently handle the toughest conditions both on and off the road.
